Remember when you stayed home sick from school and your parents said “I don’t care what you do as long as you stay in bed!” Break out the art supplies!! Doodle art time! Today, I still do the same thing. The only difference is, I don’t really mind. Then, I was always fine until I heard all my friends get off the school bus. Then, the jealousy kicked in. I would be dying to go outside so I wouldn’t miss anything. Even if I really was sick, I just wanted to sit on the sidelines and watch everyone run around the makeshift bases or gossip about what happened in class that day.
Now, I’m happy to turn the ringer off my phone and hide inside when I hear people outside my window. I’m perfectly happy to sit on my sofa and watch Peter Draws on YouTube and “art” without the guilty feeling that I should be doing something else.
Yesterday I created a full page doodle that got a little bit of attention on Facebook and I’m here to share it. It’s really just a simple doodle that I started and built on until the page was full. Anyone can do it. It’s just time and effort really. However, since I’ve been asked to do a tutorial, (ok, it was my mother who made the request) I will work on it and post the tutorial in the next couple days. In the meantime, here it is along with a list of supplies I used. Please use these links to order as I may make a small commission. Hope you like it!
