Being Healthy is hard work!
How can you shop without breaking the bank, spending a ton of time researching companies to see where your food is from, how it’s grown and how it’s processed and shipped AND have it all delivered? I’m exhausted before I even finish making my shopping list!

How I found Thrive
If you follow this blog, you already know I’ve been using Ibotta. If this is your first time here, click this link to the Ibotta post if you want to catch up.
I’m still doing great with Ibotta and I was on the app a couple of weeks ago when I saw a bonus offer for 16% back on orders from Thrive Market! Sorry, but that offer is not there anymore. On my account anyway but who knows, maybe they will do it again soon. I was so excited. I’ve wanted to try Thrive ever since I saw a report with Co-founders and co-CEOs Gunnar Lovelace and Nick Green on CBS This Morning. I clicked on the offer and went on Thrive Market’s site immediately.
The app and website are organized, clean and easy to navigate. I found so many of the items I already buy but right away I notice they are definitely cheaper than what I usually pay. I placed my order and entered my payment info. Done. So easy!!
My first order
The first thing I saw when I checked out the site was the packages of meat and seafood. I noticed this first probably because I didn’t have any meat or fish in my freezer. I hate buying meat and fish at the store. It’s so hard to see where it comes from on some packaging and it’s SO expensive. I was so excited when I saw the meat boxes. There are several to choose from. I went with the surf and turf package. It was $109 at the time I purchased it and here’s what I got.
I was a little concerned because I knew delivery would be made some time during the day and I live in Florida. It’s really hot on my patio in the afternoon. Also, I’m a nail tech so I do not get home from work at 5:00. I got home at 9:30 at night and unpacked my box of surf and turf and was totally surprised that it was still frozen solid. Not even a little thawed on the edges. I took pictures of that packaging so you can see what I mean. Very impressed with that and confident about buying more in the future.
There was even a little news letter explaining their practices with a bunch of happy little cows and chickens roaming around in green pastures. That was my favorite part.
Thrive organizes by categories which is great but it gets better! If you have a special diet, like paleo, vegan, raw, ketogenic or gluten free, you can set the filter so you only see items for that diet. It makes it so easy and fast. I eat organic and non-GMO so I don’t have to worry at all because all their products are non-GMO and each package is labeled and easy to read so I don’t have to search all the fine print on each item to figure out what I’m getting.
Just like a lot of stores, Thrive has their own brand. So far, I’m loving them and I feel like I’m getting an even better value on Thrive’s own brand. I’m in the process of trying different items they offer so I’ll update this part as I get further down the shopping list.
How much is the membership?
Membership is only $59.95 for the whole year. You save that much on your first couple orders not to mention the gas and time you save. Plus, if you’re not sure you’ll love it, you can take advantage of the 30 day trial first. That’s 13 months! You only have to save $4.61 a month for your first year, $5 for 12 months after that. You’ll see how easy that is to do when you compare your shopping list with your list from your local store. PLUS for all orders $49 or more, they will ship it for free!!! I LOVE free!! And how easy is it to spend $50 on groceries? So easy!

Thank you so much Thrive Market!
I’m so happy that I found this company and I’m so grateful to the whole team that fought to get this idea of service up and running. Check out their story.
